SBS Radio 1 is one of the three main stations of the Special Broadcasting Service that aims "to inform, educate and entertain Australians live, especially those of non-English-speaking backgrounds". The radio station broadcasts programs in 29 languages (cantonese, tamil, turkish, mandarin, khmer, korean and others) from either of its Sydney or Melbourne studios live. Most programs in shedule contain a news, current affairs, sport, music and community information a specific ethnic relating or language group. Chiil plays in the evenings.
