About

PBS 106.7FM is a community-based cooperative radio station located in Melbourne, Australia. It broadcasts via FM, digital radio, online, and through a mobile app. The station features a wide array of progressive contemporary music, showcasing around 80 programs that span genres from soul and garage to country and jazz. This musical variety is a result of announcers choosing their own playlists. A small team of professionals is supported by over 400 volunteers. PBS promotes lesser-known music by inviting musicians to share their work with the station. In 2019, PBS FM was honored with induction into the Music Victoria Hall of Fame.
